REFUNDS & RETURNS

Elegante shall make all endeavors to deliver defect free products to the purchasers. Elegante does not take title to any returned items purchased by the user unless the item is received by Elegante. Any item purchased on our website does not qualify for any return unless the product delivered is damaged or has manufacturing defects. The defective and/or damaged goods so received shall be communicated to Elegante within 48 hours of its receipt. Any communication received after 48 hours of delivery shall not qualify for return unless expressly covered by the product warranty even in case the said product has been wrongly delivered.

Elegante holds the sole discretion to determine whether a refund can be issued. For further information please read our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

 

Returns & Exchanges

ELegante endeavors to ensure that every transaction at our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards.

As a policy, we do not offer returns or exchanges on products which are delivered in perfect condition as per the order placed. However, if the product is wrongfully delivered (product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we are open to extending full refund or re-fulfilling your order.

EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution to any situation as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case by case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution.

No refunds would be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.

In case of International Orders if a customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and doesn’t collect his/her order from the Shipping agency (like DHL, Fedex etc.) , then ELegante will not be liable to refund any amount for such orders.

Products bought online cannot be exchanged or returned in store.

Handover the item you wish to return to our Elegante executive.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

In case of any concerns, please send us photographs of the items to ascertain the reason for return which can be initiated from “My Account” section. Once the return is accepted for refund, you would be contacted by our Customer Care team for product collection. You will need to retain the item with all its seals and trappings (boxes, bags, tags, stickers etc.) intact along with the Original Invoice. You can retain a copy of the Invoice for reference and future correspondence. For any further clarifications do get in touch with our friendly customer care folks.

Elegante Easy Return Policy is applicable only for 7 days from receipt of the product and applicable only for the following reasons: Damage / dead on arrival, Manufacturing defect/Expired product & In-correct product. The time frame starts from date the product was delivered as per the confirmation received from our logistics team or courier partners. The refund amount will be equal to the Paid amount for an item.

On certain Products the Seller’s or Brand’s Warranty may supersede Elegante Easy Return Policy.

Elegante will pick up product that you wish to return from your doorstep; however locations where we do not have reverse pick up facility, we may request you to self-ship the product to us.

Customized orders cannot be returned.

Once your return claim is Accepted, Refunds will be processed within 48 Hours. Depending on the mode of payment you used, Banks and Payment Gateways usually take between 7-10 working days to credit the amount to your account.

 

Cancellations:

We accept cancellation of confirmed orders till the end of the next day, provided the products have not been shipped yet. If you are initiating the cancellation through “My Account”, the amount will reflect in your Website* Wallet within 24 working hours.

For example:

  • If an order has been placed today and you want to cancel it either today or tomorrow before the product is shipped, then we’ll accept the cancellation.
  • If an order has been placed today and you want to cancel it either today or tomorrow after the product is shipped, then we will not be able to accept the cancellation.

For customers who call us, once the cancellation is processed, the amount will reflect in the original source of payment. You’ll also incur a small deduction (service fee by the Payment Gateway) to the tune of 1.5% on the paid value of the transaction.

 

SHIPPING & PROCESSING FEE

Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate Elegante for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you. For further information please refer to our Shipping & Payment Policy.

LOSS IN TRANSIT

ELegante endeavors but does not guarantee delivery of products in the stipulated time period as mentioned on the purchase of the product. In no manner can the contract be repudiated if GOODEARTH fails to deliver any one or more products in the stipulated time frame. However, if you fail to take the delivery of the goods, Elegante may at its discretion charge you for additional shipping cost.

 

Delivery information

Domestic shipping:

  • On placing your order, you will receive an email containing a summary of the order and also the estimated delivery time to your location. From the date of placing order, we would normally take 5-10 working days to deliver your order. In few locations, the delivery may take longer, depending on the accessibility of your location by our logistics partners. In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for such updates.
  • Delivery time is between 5 to 10 working days through a trusted courier service.
  • We ship on all week days (Monday to Saturday) excluding public holidays.
  • While we shall endeavor to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability.
  • We cannot change the shipping address once the order has been placed. We aim to confirm all dispatches within 72 hours of receiving your order confirmation.
  • All shipping within India is notchargeable for any shipment above Rs.1500/-. A flat shipping rate of Rs.100/- will be charged for orders below Rs.1500/-.
  • If you believe the product is not in good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package and call our Customer Care on Tel :+91-82749 48204 (Monday-Saturday : 10 am – 6 pm) or email us at support@*******mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.
  • Please note all items (including gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations
  • Presently we do not ship internationally.

17. International Orders

17.1   Customers purchasing from the United States of America and Australia are served as Delivery Duty Paid. These costs are included in the final purchase price, and you should not have to pay any additional costs to receive your order. Product exceptions: For certain oversized products a delivery quote will need to be processed for them to be sent outside of the UK, these items are exempt from free postage. In order to see if this applies, please check the delivery tab on the product page.

17.2   All other international customers purchasing will be served as Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) and will be charged for the items purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty or tax costs (where applicable) will be invoiced to you directly from DHL or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion, as some countries have thresholds where no import taxes or duty fees will need to be paid, for example in Australia under AUD$1000.

17.3   If you are ordering from the United States of America, US customs may require your IRS/social security number to complete the entry paperwork that is required in order for you to receive your parcel. Amara and our chosen courier have no control over this request. This information will never be shared or used for reasons other than what is required by customs.

17.4 If you are ordering from Australia all prices include AU GST, no additional payment will be requested from customers. GST receipts can be provided as proof of payment.

17.6   If you are ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they are aware they will be responsible for these additional charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we are unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We would advise that you check the import charges applicable in any country before ordering products to be delivered there.

17.7   Please note that we aim to dispatch all international orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Elegante is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes

17.9   Please note some items are classed as freight and are restricted from the normal delivery terms and pricing structure. A delivery quote will be required which can be arranged online by adding to the basket and following the steps.

 

Payment options

While availing any of the payment method/s offered by us, we are not responsible or take no liability ofwhatsoever nature in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to you including but not limited to the following: (a) lack of authorization for any transaction/s; (b) or exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed by you and between your “Bank/s”; (c) or any payment issues arising out of the transaction; (d) or decline of transaction for any other reason/s.

All payments made against the purchases/services on Eleganteindia.in by you shall be as against the MRP displayed on the website and shall be in terms and conditions of the third party Online Payment Gateway Services as adopted and applicable to your transaction as approved byElegante. Before shipping your order to you, we may request you to provide supporting documents (including but not limited to Govt. issued ID and address proof) to establish the ownership of the payment instrument used by you for your purchase. This is done so as to ensure a safe and a fool proof online shopping environment to our users.

Elegante may employ PaisaPay, PayPal and such other third party facilities, for Payments on the Website. Such payments can be made through the electronic or through Cash on delivery transactions, as may be permitted by Elegante which shall be at its sole discretion. Use of such third party services will be governed by their User Agreement, Seller Terms, Conditions and other rules and policies as may be required and applicable for your nature of activities.

For shipping to India, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide Net Banking options across major banks. For all international transactions, we accept major Credit Cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide the option to pay using PayPal. PayPal and PayU are our third party payment gateways.

For greater security, we have enabled our systems for Verified by VISA and Mastercard Secure Code facility, applicable to VISA and MASTERCARD respectively. This is an additional security measure necessitating you to enter a password which only you, the card holder, can have access to. Also, The Cushion Project by JJR Spin Textiles LLP store accepts all Visa and Master credit cards and debit cards and is committed to provide a safe transaction environment by using a secure process for payment handling. The Cushion Project by JJR Spin Textiles LLP does not capture any such passwords and you enter this directly into a bank secure system.

It is not uncommon for a request for credit / debit card authorization to fail once or twice before the card is finally authorized. This happens due to problems with your card issuing banks servers. You must try again till you get a successful notification. At times the bank payment servers or your issuing banks payment servers may be down, in which case a message will be posted informing you of the same. Under such circumstances, you can continue shopping and add items to the bag which would then be saved and you can come back later and complete the payment transaction within 24 hours.

  • Payment on your card bill will appear as “_______” (our parent company) in your local currency (as per the norms of your card issuing bank). Your card will be charged in Indian currency as per prevailing rate of exchange (if applicable) and charge policies of your card issuer.

We ship through registered courier companies for orders within India as well as international orders.

International orders: delivered within 7-10 business days

Domestic orders: delivered within 6-8 business days. (You will see the delivery date for your order at the time of order confirmation.)

Pre-orders: delivery time will be with in 40 days.

*Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not set as working days for standard deliveries.

DUTIES & TAXES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order, and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported. You will need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency (DHL, FedEx etc.) at the time of your order delivery after you receive an invoice by the shipping agent.

SHIPPING OF PRODUCTS

All orders are processed from our own warehouse in *********. Orders will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.

TRACKING PACKAGE

Orders that have been processed and shipped can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping agency’s website. Once your order is shipped, we will mail you your tracking number along with information about the shipping agency. You can also track your order status on our web boutique, from the “Order Status” link under “Customer Assistance” in the website footer.

NON-AVAILABILITY ON DELIVERY

Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three times before they return it to us. Please provide the complete & accurate shipping address including zip code and a mobile number. This will help us in delivering your order faster.

 

FAQS

 

Does the parcel require a signature?

Yes. Our parcels are sent by courier who do require the parcel to be sign for. If you will not be available to accept and sign for the delivery, you can leave delivery instructions at the checkout stages. For example, you may request that your parcel is left with a neighbour, or left behind a gate. Our couriers will leave the parcel in a place if they feel that it is safe enough to do so.

Alternatively, in the UK the courier will attempt the delivery three times before you will need to collect the parcel from your nearest depot.

For international deliveries, our courier will attempt delivery once. If they are unable to deliver the parcel, you will be left a calling card so that you can call our courier to rearrange the delivery for a convenient time.

Are customs duties included in the shipping cost?

All orders are shipped from our UK based warehouse and therefore customs duties are not included in our international shipping costs to delivery countries outside of the EU (with the exception of US). Your delivery country’s import duties may be charged to you when your parcel reaches customs. As custom duties are out of our control, we are unable to confirm the financial limits that exempt you from being charged. We are also unable to advise what these custom duties may be as these are governed locally and not charged by Amara. For all international orders we do not charge UK VAT. Territorial pricing is applicable with international orders and these recommended retail prices can vary dependent upon the delivery country.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address to my billing address?

Yes, orders can be delivered to an alternative address in the UK or overseas. You’ll need to enter the delivery country in your shopping bag when prompted, and then the delivery address in the checkout. Once at the payment stage you can confirm the billing and delivery addresses are different, and you’ll need to confirm the details. If paying with PayPal you’ll need to register the delivery address to your PayPal account as part of their own security restrictions.

Can I have my order gift-wrapped?

Yes. At Elegante we offer a luxury gift wrapping service. If your items are suitable for this service they can be wrapped in a luxurious black crocodile textured paper; each parcel is then tied with an embossed cream satin ribbon and you will have the option to select this service at the checkout stage and include your own personalised message.

What is your returns policy?

Items purchased within the last 30 days are eligible for a refund. The item(s) you wish to return needs to be new, unused and in its original packaging in a saleable condition. If you are in the UK we offer free returns on thousands of products, you can check which items are eligible on the delivery & returns tab on each product page, or on the delivery slip included with the item(s).

Please note we do not offer exchanges and once an order has been placed we cannot amend it. The following items cannot be returned:

Custom products
Products marked as non-returnable within the product details
Earrings
Perishable goods

How will I be refunded and how long will it take to receive?

We aim to process your refund within 14 days from the date you sent your item(s). You will be notified when the refund has been processed, and the method of payment you used to order the item(s) will be credited if received within 30 days of dispatch.

Can I change my existing order?

We cannot amend your order if it has already been picked in our warehouse, but we will endeavor to help wherever we can. If an order has already been dispatched from our warehouse upon receiving your request, our Customer Services team can assist you with re-calling the parcel to Elegante. Please note that we will not cover any costs incurred during this process.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or is incorrect?
